Heidi Floyd

Heidi Floyd is an internationally recognized oncology patient advocate, strategic advisor, and keynote speaker with more than 20 years of experience advancing patient-centered healthcare across nonprofit, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and government sectors. A two-time breast cancer survivor, she combines lived experience with extensive advocacy leadership to help shape more inclusive, equitable, and patient-centric approaches to clinical research and care.
Alongside her role at The Carter Center, Heidi serves on the Board of Directors for The Pink Fund and has advised organizations including the U.S. Department of Defense, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen, the National Institutes of Health, and the World Health Organization. She is passionate about strengthening patient engagement, improving access to clinical trials, and ensuring patient perspectives are embedded throughout research and healthcare decision-making.
